Agriculture has always been a defining part of here life, and learned the importance of consistency and dedication working beside her dad on a ranch. That work ethic has continued to today, where she works beside her high school sweetheart and husband of nearly 32 years, helping run a fourth-generation cattle ranch. And while that ranch will be passed down as their legacy to their three boys, today she enjoys combining her three loves – ranching, family and real estate. She brings a deep knowledge of the farm and ranch industry to her clients, as well as an immense understanding of what Montana has to offer. She provides insights to her clients in way that only a longstanding Montana native and ranch wife can. She loves the Montana way of life and lifestyle and enjoying helping her clients pass along – or purchase – their own Montana legacy.

Tara Halmes lives in Cascade with her husband and three boys. She is a broker and real estate agents, but also runs her family cattle ranch with her husband, as well as an outfitting business where they take fishermen on the Missouri River and guide elk hunters in the fall.
